The purpose of the Eddie Kendricks Memorial Foundation (EKMF) is to honor the name and image of the late Eddie Kendricks. EKMF is an independent organization located in the nation's capital, formed by Jimi Dougans, founding member of Kendricks' recording and touring band, "The Young Senators".


The Foundation has three key goals:

  • To promote and preserve appreciation for the musical legacy of the late Eddie Kendricks. EJK Day-June 11th
  • To help educate our youth of the harmful effects of smoking Smoking...Get The Facts!
  • To be a liaison for the untapped inner-city musical talent in our communities.
